I recently completed a mini unit on teaching 7th graders about the layers of the atmosphere. The students had the opportunity to complete a webquest, what an experiment that dealt with gases, and build a foldable as a hands on activity. There was one inquiry lesson built upon graphing temperatures. I am hoping to add more inquiry and possible experiments in the future to this mini unit. If you have any lessons or ideas I would love to incorporate some new lessons for the students.
