I am student teaching 7th graders in an inner city middle school. Classroom management can often be a difficult area to keep ahead of. I recently completed a mini unit on teaching 7th graders about the layers of the atmosphere. The students had the opportunity to complete a webquest, what an experiment that dealt with gases, and build a foldable as a hands on activity.
