My name is Amanda Cabrera and I'm majoring in Elementary Education. I'm currently a senior and if all goes as planned I will be graduating with my bachelors in the Summer of 2019. I got my Associates in Arts degree with a pathway to psychology but soon after I realized that wasn't the career I wanted to pursue. If I had to, I would consider science to be my worst subject, however I am eager and interested in learning the many techniques of how to teach and implement science in the classroom. As for my personal life - I am now currently working full time for Our Pride Academy (a school for individuals with special needs). This experience has been extremely eye opening and unforgettable. Working with these individuals has taught me lessons I wouldn't have learned anywhere else. One of my hobbies is playing unified sports.
