When I was in school we had a classroom garden that managed and had different plants and food in it. We then talked about the plant cycle and even the animal cycle because there were bees, butterflies, and caterpillars that would be in our garden. I had a fun time doing it and it doesn't have to be a huge garden you could probably even do potted plants.
