Tom Muzzey, I really am glad that you shared the links to the different activities. I really appreciate how they include questions and places to record data. I am a math person and am always looking for ways that I'll be able to incorporate science into a math lesson. It is a huge plus that this is an actual activity that involves students. As a preservice teacher I believe it is extremely important to encourage young girls to take part in STEM roles, but I also think we need to have more mentors for them to shadow. Our oldest daughter has always had a great love for black holes, but we were unable to find anyone to mentor or encourage her to pursue her dream.
