I'm teaching DNA and I saw an article that I thought about using in the classroom. It was about bigfoot and how the scientists used DNA to determine if big foot was actually real. I don't know where I found the article though. The one class really enjoyed it.

It's a great idea and project! One teacher used it last year and the students had a ball with it. I think she also added an extension where the students could leave comments on the scientists "page"

In my class I just incorporated peer and self evaluations I still go through and grade all the labs but the kids are honest about their grades which is nice. They tell me what they think their partner should work on and what they need to work on.
