Dr. Lisa Martin-Hansen is professor of Science Education at California State University, Long Beach. Her research and practice interests include teaching about the nature of science and coupled/scaffolded inquiry. Lisa previously taught at Georgia State University and Drake University, and is a former Science and Life Issues field-test teacher from Iowa City, IA. Lisa earned a PhD in Science Education with emphasis on Curriculum & Instruction and Nature of Science after a career in teaching.
