My NSTA / Peers / Mary Colson

I teach 8th grade Earth science and am interested in how to teach the Earth sciences in authentic and engaging ways. I've lived and taught in Minnesota for 27 years and love my adopted home, including the average January temperature of 0 degrees F. You can't beat the brilliance of the stars and Milky Way on a cold and dark winter's night. You can't beat the John Deere tractor and snow blower either.
