This is an easy read and essential to learning some fundamental basics about water. I sometimes work with the lower elementary students and they need to know that water is sticky. It is cohesive with other water molecules and it is adhesive to whatever it comes in contact with. I love the Stop Faking It!, series.

The concepts of surface tension, adhesion, and coherence are all difficult to understand for a lot of people when simply reading about them. The author has mixed the explanations with science experiments that model what is being discussed and they are all things that are easily transferable to the classroom (well, I wouldn't do the drops in a glass, I would use a penny but still....). Very good basic information that all science teachers should understand about the properties of water that can be transferred to many other liquids.
