Tried and True: Balloons and Newton's Third Law

This constructivist adaptation of the classic balloon-on-a-string exploration leads students to investigate Newton's third law: for every action force there is an equal and opposite reaction force. This hands-on, minds-on activity leads students to form new concepts and correct any misconceptions they may have about Newton's third law.
