The author touches on many important things that teachers must take into consideration when teaching science. The safety not only protects students, but it also protects the teachers. The teachers are in the classroom all day and are surrounded by several chemicals which is why all chemicals must be stored away properly as well as used properly in order for everything to go smoothly. Like the author says, bad things can definitely happen to good people and it would be a shame for anyone to get injured in their science class. Safety is never overrated when it comes to anything, especially science class. In order to have a fun learning environment that is safe, always remember that the way chemicals are stored and maintained is just as important on how you use them during an experiment.
