This unique career turns ideas, concepts, processes, events, structures, and trends into images that help us better understand what is going on. This scientist is the director of ‘astrovisualization’ for the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) which includes the Hayden Planetarium in New York City. He uses computer modeling and astronomy to create images that are not only three dimensional but sometimes four dimensional. Coming from the area of visual arts his career path is somewhat unique and interesting. Students interested in our universe would really enjoy reading about him and what he does.
