I absolutely loved this article! Not only did it teach students about habitable and uninhabitable parts of the Earth, but it did it in such a creative way. I also really liked how the teacher incorporated other subjects into this lesson like math. One thing that especially impressed me with this teacher which is something that in today's day and age teachers must always be thinking about is the fact that he checked for allergies before beginning the activity. Overall, I would recommend this activity and article to all Elementary and Middle School teachers.
