The practice of Citizen Science allows students to engage in authentic scientific work in their community and contribute to larger bodies of knowledge used in real research. This collection explains what Citizen Science is and gives some great examples of how it can be incorporated into your classroom curriculum for a variety of topics, with everything from water quality to entomology to butterfly migrations to rain fall data.
