Living in South Florida, many kids have been snorkeling and exposed to the beauty and wonder of coral reefs. However, many are unaware of the danger that changing weather, our actions, and other outside causes have on the future of our coral reefs. I've chosen these resources because they enable you to teach ecosystems, then focus in on one particular ecosystem: the amazing coral reef. I believe using the Coral Reef to teach ecosystems will be fun and challenging, and something elementary students will really grasp.
