Hi Everyone!

I’m currently in the elementary education program at UH Manoa. What are some tips or suggestions on teaching a topic you are not familiar with? Or some suggestions on how to feel more confident when teaching a brand new concept.

To be honest, if I were teaching a new topic that I wasn't familair with, I would watch Youtube videos. Of course there are other hepful resources out there. However, I feel that being able to visually see how a lesson of the content you're wanting to teach goes, you wold be able to pick up on  fun tips or strategies that you could use to incorporate into your lesson.
