I am a Canadian high school science and math teacher and curriculum developer with an interest in finding ways to integrate science and math with other subject areas.
After living and working as an educator for almost 15 years in the Canadian Arctic and 5 years in China, I also love to consider the cultural influences on education and how to incorporate and accommodate for these factors in classroom teaching practices.

I did find some recent research (2012) but it certainly does not refute convection but just adds further evidence to suggest that slab-pull and convection work together.
