It is well known that science can be a difficult subject to introduce children to, with all the different types of ways to create experiments or hands-on activities the safety of the child is most at stake. Do you think it is important to trust the students at an earlier age or should they wait until they are at a mature age to be introduced to new science materials.

I think keeping contact with the parents is an important aspect to consider when conducting experiments at home. If the parent is involved with the instructions of the experiment then the teacher will know that they are working on it together and the child is gaining that scientific involvement.
