Wow thank you for the post! This is a very interesting and fun way for children to learn about sound and the different things that affect it. It is also a very good way for students to be creative and play with the things that they have created. I feel that students would be very excited to participate in this activity.

I think that assigning individual roles in the classroom would keep order within the classroom as well as allowing the students to take ownership of their learning. As the students are encouraged to take responsibilities in the class, they will feel as though they are contributing and will develop an intrinsic desire to do well.

Wow this sounds so interesting. I have never thought of using these familiar characters to teach about genetics. I feel that students will be interested and would also be fascinated by the fact that we are using make believe characters to teach about something that is real, like genetics.
