The Early Years: Leaf It to Nature

Good Article

I feel like the ideas in the article that I read are pretty good ones that I should use with my future students. For example one idea talked about how students love to take nature walks to collect things for a school project. Some of the things that I could have my students collect include leaves and bugs. When we come back to the classroom after the nature walk, I would have my students look at the objects that they have gathered and see if there is anyway to group them by size, color, or shape.

It's good but could of been longer

I feel like this article was well written and has helped me to understand what boys and girls need when learning. I would however, have liked to see more written about the subject and why that type of play works. I would of also liked to see some scientific studies included in the article.
