Rocks Collection

Great Collection!

I will be teaching on minerals and I specifically loved the Rocks and Minerals book chapter. It was very insightful and helped me incorporate some of what I read into my lesson. Overall, i think you did a great job with your collection and had great sources

Recycling Collection

Great Collection!

This collection focuses on the many ways of recycling and the benefits it has on our planet. I enjoyed your collection and thought it was very educational on the concept of Recycling. The articles in this collection have provided supplementary tools and strategies on recycling. My favorite article on the collection was The Dynamic Earth, which had a series of activities that teachers could do with their students. Even though these activities were done with a fifth grade classroom, they could be altered to accommodate higher or lower grades. The article included information on the NGSS, concept mapping, and 5E lesson plans which we are learning about in class. Furthermore, I liked how you included the Conceptual Flow podcast, which gave a clear understanding on the difference between facts and concepts. By using this collection and its resources anyone can benefit on the good of recycling and how to teach it to students.
