I would recommend doing a lot of experiments and modeling during the engage part of your lesson plan. Do things that make your students question themselves, "what just happened and how did she do that?" I have found even in the most boring topics, if your students have no idea what just happened, they will ask a million questions to find out what just happened! Hola Angie! I also did changes in heat with my students. My explore stage I showed them how heat melts materials with a hairdryer and a fan. I compare the two forms of air and they seemed to really enjoy my experiment. Plus they were using vocab words like melting and cooling without even knowing it.
