What specifically on plants are you wanting to teach? It would help to know what you are trying to teach with plants (structure, parts, reproduction, etc.) in order to find the correct NGSS to fit what you need. I am a preservice teacher at UNI in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I will tell you now that co-teaching is really nice because then you are getting the ideas of another person in the profession.
