You want lots of engaging, hands-on, inquiry based labs connected to phenomenon that are of interest to your Jr. High students. Story Line Sequence

Webinar provided information on using the CERR framework to construct a coherent story line for use in a third grade classroom by creating a Unit aligned to NGSS. The webinar provided background information and research on needed shifts needed to teach using phenomenon based instruction. Different strategies for assessing student prior knowledge, increasing teacher background knowledge, and discourse were highlighted as well.
