Hi Lillian,
I think using the Rainbow Fish can be used for teaching students how to be a good citizen. I think incorporating literature in science is pretty neat! From what I have seen in observing classrooms, a science class only happens once or twice a week so if we can incorporate science into literature, students can receive more science classes a week that way.

I think you should try to always use hands on learning for science. I've observed too many times where a teacher would show a youtube video and then would give the students a worksheet and to me that is boring. Children are naturally very curious and I think that giving them opportunity to explore in science would make learing fun.
