The Herp book that has it all
WOW! This book has it all. Not only does it talk about how to handle and care for reptiles and amphibians, but it also discuss the biology, malformations, declines, their role in the ecosystems, conservation and management. These topics are great introductions when studying any animal groups. I think my favorite part of the book is teaching readers how to handle or not handle certain reptiles and amphibians. I found that part of the book most important because I think all students can benefit in how to properly handle amphibians due to their porous skin. Some young children have a curious mind and love touching everything. Therefore, having a book that has such a wide range of topics especially one that is often over looked is perfect for any age.
