Hi, Kristina. I think you could easily use aluminum pie plates and a bag of soil to have students build mounds of dirt and then flood them with water to simulate a land slide. Hi, Ruth. Not sure if this is where you want to go, but I have modeled the rock cycle with crayons before. You can erode (could model sanding) the craysons to make sedimentary rock and you melt the crayons to make igneous rock.
